Lights of LoveThis will be the 5th annual Lights of Love where our House shares with your House!  We welcome all our community neighbors and children to come out and welcome Santa Claus (who rides in on a carriage with Mrs. Claus), Ronald, and vendors who support our House.This is a free event for all.  The evening culminates with the turning on of all the Christmas lights decorating the House. 

Wade's Funds for Little Ones is proud to assist the Ronald McDonald House in Galveston, Texas.  In 1998 Wade's found that they could also help RMHG with much needed items.  Over the years Wade's has replaced all the beds, furnished bedspreads, dining chairs, purchased 2 built in ovens, 2 built in dishwashers, 2 microwave ovens, televisions, and a washing machine.  Wade's has purchased food for RMHG's pantry, given toys and helped to furnish their library.

our HATS OFF TO THE GALVESTON RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE! Come spend the afternoon at the Gulf Greyhouse Park with friends and lunch, bet on those dogs, and parade around in the most outrageous HAT you have!  Gulf Greyhound Park graciously awards our House a portion of every bet made this day.  It’s a Wednesday and this is the perfect way to escape those mid-week blahs!  Come on down!

The Southwest Airlines  2010 Lone Star Classic was held on May 12th at the Timber Creek Golf Club in Friendswood, Texas
This charity event helps raise awarness and benefits the Houston and Galveston Ronald McDonald House.  The House allows families to stay together in comfort while their children receive critical medical care.

This tradition started back in 1979 as a way for the owners to thank their customers after their first year in business — and has continued each year since then.  Enjoy your favorite scoop for free from noon to 8 p.m. at participating Ben & Jerry’s locations. 

We celebrated with our 21st Birthday with Murdochs 100th year celebration at Murdochs and SeawalCharity Day at the Races - Gulf Grreyhound Parkl with a full moon and lots of wonderful friends to the Ronald McDonald House.  Some of our activities included Bathing Beauties, beach lifeguard towers, silent auction and raffle, gaming, a psyhic, a juggler, antique cars, and great food!
